Dear one, wellness is the collective well-being of your mind, body, and spirit. If you achieve total wellness, you will be able to live fulfilled, joyous, and happy. However, due to human strife, conflicts, habits, and lifestyles achieving total wellness seems to be quite difficult for each and every one.
Our body, mind, and spirit are all gifts from God and should be taken care of, but as humans, our flaws are something that is natural, hence, “we are all flawed.” But dear friend, do you know what is the prime importance of your physical, mental, and spiritual health?
Your body is a metaphysical insurance God gave you to do His work in the physical world.
Physical Health. Your body is important as you walk through the physical world and the way you take care or steward your body determines how long you live. If you practice an unhealthy lifestyle such as smoking, drinking, and eating unhealthy foods, it is likely that your physical body will wither quickly. However, if you take care of it and nurture it thoroughly, you’re on your way to achieving wellness. But how do you take care of your body?
Eat healthy, rest and relax from time to time, sleep well, and exercise regularly. Isn’t it simple?
Mental Health. The mind is as important as the body. Did you know that without your mind, your body wouldn’t function? Taking good care of your mind also results in overall wellness, however, mental health is somehow shunned due to stigma and discrimination by those who experience mental health problems. Always keep this in mind, “Your mental health is as important as your physical health,” without a functioning mind your body wouldn’t function well.
But how do you take good care of your mental well-being?
Eat right, do physical and mental exercises daily, meditate, relax and rest, and sleep adequately. Same pattern for mental and physical health, right? Doing these are so simple, just allot a designated time per day and you’ll be able to build a habit out of it.
Spiritual Health. The spirit houses our connection with God. A bad spiritual health may sever our connection to God and the universe but good spiritual health connects us to the One Above-all and the universe which overflows us with universal energy and blessings. How do you take care of your spiritual health?

Unceasing Praying Habit. Prayer is power. The more you pray, the more you will establish your connection with God and the Holy Spirit.
Unwavering Faith. Faith is the substance of things you hoped for. It establishes good spiritual health by enriching your spirit with righteous knowledge from God and the Universe.
Unassailable Physical and Mental Health. The mind and body also play a factor in achieving overall spiritual, physical, and mental health. It can help easily achieve spiritual enlightenment, thus resulting in overall wellness.

Having a good mind, body, and spiritual health results in optimal wellness, and being a good shepherd to what God has given us, is taking care of the insurance He gave to us.
