Trust is one of the characteristics you must possess in order to turn your life around. Trust is one of our innate traits as humans where we put our belief in the power, strength, reliability, and truth to someone or something. Trust can be defined in so many ways, and it varies from one person to another.

Trust Is An Insurance, why?

One can define trust as putting faith in a person, an entity, or a deity. To someone, they can define trust as believing in concrete details or results such as science and technology. We define trust in so many varied ways and to some degree, they define it as an insurance or trust fund. Kidding aside, trust is essential in order for us to live a fruitful and happy life.

A study has shown that in some countries like the US, Singapore, Europe, Middle East, trust is something that employers give to their remote workers to track their time rendered during working hours, and does this way produce effective results and productivity in general – YES! Yes, it does because the employees’ mindset is that they put a lot of trust in me (employer), so might as well keep that trust and not do something to break it.

Because when we break someone else’s trust it cannot be mended, like broken glass or vase, we can put it back together piece by piece but the crack is still there, that’s why to others they are finding difficulty in trusting again.

Why is our trust fading?

Why is our trust fading? Simply because of lies, betrayal, and deceit. We encounter many people in life that break our trust by lying to us frequently, deceiving us in many ways that break our trust to the point we are no longer capable of giving it to others or to someone. Bringing back trust is quite hard especially if that someone we used to trust for a very long time stabs our back and betrays us.

Trust is the insurance of Faith and Hope. Trust is a holy insurance policy created by God for us.

It’s normal to not trust immediately due to past experiences, but what’s normal is not giving it, especially for those who deserve our trust. We must filter on who we give our trust to, do you know who truly deserves it? The one who will not fail us in good and trying times? You got that right, THE HOLY SPIRIT. Joshua 21:45, the scripture is the testament that He never fails and He never will.

For as long as we put our 100% into trusting Him and turning it into our faith, He will never ever fail us. We fail miserably in trusting because we put our trust in unworthy things or people, but if we put our trust in Him, we guide and nurture us, in the span of our lives.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths”.

– Proverbs 3:5-6

This verse from the scriptures is one of our all-time favorites right? It is simple yet it encompasses everything, that we as humans tend to forget how to trust Him in quietness and trials, we forget to be still that He is sovereign and can make wonders in our life.

He can move mountains for us, make miracles in our lives, remember when He is making miracles – making the blind see, the one who cannot bear a child, bear offspring, curing the incurable, those are just some of the fractions He did. What more can He do for you? As long as you trust him wholeheartedly without an ounce of doubt and selfishness. For these qualities hinder His work and miracles in our life.
