When your dreams come crumbling down around you, it might be difficult to keep going. The power of dreams, on the other hand, is that they can go beyond hopes for self-improvement—the goal should be to make a positive difference in the world.
The human heart is a fickle creature. Consider how many incredible things would have been missed if brilliant minds simply stopped working when they “didn’t feel like it.”
It’s in our nature. I’m sure Walt Disney had days when he felt like giving up after receiving over 300 bank rejections. He, on the other hand, did not. He persisted. Why? It was because his dream was bigger than he was.
When you feel like you need to stop, always be reminded of these three things to pick yourself up from the depths of despair:
Persistence. It is key to keep moving forward, always persist and assert your dreams, because you are the only one who’ll make those dreams turn to fruition, with the help of God and the Holy Spirit, you’ll be able to do it.
Motivation. It is the driving force, your fire, your chi (qi), or your energy to keep moving forward. Motivations are seeds of hope that are planted in your mind that flourishes to your soul.
Setbacks are Normal. Failures or setbacks are normal because they shape who we are, they are the blueprint of our do’s and don’ts in life. So don’t be afraid of failure, it’s normal. Be afraid of not trying and giving up.
Remember to always keep moving forward, because it is the only way to achieve our glory. Stay tuned for more.
