In the old days, they asked the Holy Spirit when the kingdom of God would come. According to scriptures it responded to them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you”.
Therefore, the kingdom of God is not a physical place that we can point to with our fingers.
It is something that we experience in our hearts.
When we seek the Holy Spirit, we are seeking an inner transformation that will enable us to experience the kingdom of God.
The Holy Spirit is like a fire that burns away impurities and changes us into beings of light.
When we invite the Holy Spirit into our lives, we are inviting miracles to happen. All things are possible for those who have the Holy Spirit dwelling within them.
However, it is not enough to invite the Holy Spirit into our lives. We must also seek His guidance and follow His lead.
The Holy Spirit will never force Himself upon us. He will always give us the choice to follow Him or not. But if we truly want to experience the kingdom of God, then we must be willing to set aside our own desires and listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying to us.
The essence of seeking the Holy Spirit is giving up our own will and submitting to His. It is only when we do this that we can truly experience the transforming power of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
