“Treat Others The Way They Want To Be Treated“

One crucial life lesson that I always apply in my life, and it should always be applied in walks of life. There is no pretense in this lesson because this one is so direct, easy to learn and apply.
The lesson of the day is “Treat Others How They Want To Be Treated.” This all-time quote goes on and on for ages and its meaning is beyond being kind to others. It has other lessons such as thinking about others the way you want to be thought of, next is feeling about others the way you would want others to feel for you, and lastly, speaking to others the way you want to be spoken to.
Just like respect begets respect right?
For example, when speaking with your partner, you might want to ask about his or her preferences, likes, and dislikes. You will want to think about the way your partner wants to be treated – compassion is one of the best forms of love and kindness.
Another example: when talking to your boss and co-workers, you will want to talk to them in ways that motivate and inspire them. In other words, speak to them in ways that make them happy and joyful. At the workplace, communication is key.
If you are talking with your friends, you will always want to be empathetic towards them and put yourself in their shoes. Feel what they are going through and be a little kinder. Empathy goes a long way.
Here’s my take on this, if you treat others with basic human decency and virtues such as love, kindness, compassion, politeness, patience, and so much more you would have inner peace and blessings from God and the Universe.
You don’t have to be a genius to be kind to others and if you do your life would be more peaceful. People would not build animosity towards you if you give back to their honest and earnest actions and feelings towards them.
Remember that you own your karma. Whatever you reap, eventually you will sow. So do good, and be good
